Please join us for our monthly meeting on Tuesday, February 17th MARCH 3RD, from 11:30 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Our guest speaker will be Mark Bridgeman, who will be giving a presentation on the Regional Overview of Gangs.

Mark Bridgeman retired from the Fayetteville Police Department (NC) as the Captain serving from 1987 to 2013. Mark has worked in many law enforcement disciplines including patrol, narcotics, VICE, SWAT, investigations, criminal intelligence and gangs. In addition, he is the President and founding member of the North Carolina Gang Investigator’s Association, which began in 1999. Through the NCGIA, he helped develop Gang Free NC as a mechanism to engage communities in gang awareness and education.

Mark also serves on the board of the National Alliance of Gang Investigator’s Association, which represents all the Gang Investigator’s Associations throughout the Unites States and Canada, which includes over 25,000 gang investigators.

The FBI invited Mark as the first participant in the Executive Police Fellowship Program assigned to the National Gang Intelligence Center. As a subject matter expert, he provided a perspective on gang intelligence from the local and state levels and the way in which it relates to federal efforts.

Mark earned his Masters Degree from American Military University in Intelligence Studies and is currently an adjunct instructor for Miller-Motte College.
