Women in Security (WIS) News- A Letter from the Chair

I am pleased to announce a few changes to our local ASIS leadership team:   Anita Jelley continues to serve as ASIS Regional VP, Lisa Terry has accepted the Women In Security (WIS) Regional position, and I have accepted our chapter WIS chair position. I know Anita and Lisa will do an excellent job in their new roles and we will work to build on the momentum Lisa created for our group last year. Our continued success will depend on our commitment and enthusiasm for promoting women in security, at the same time having fun in the process. Bring your ideas and suggestions for our group goals for 2016 to our first meeting on February 9th, I’m planning a brainstorming session.

Barb Phillips of RTI International has graciously offered to host our meeting on February 9th, from 9: 00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., at the RTI campus in RTP. We are very fortunate to have Mary Elizabeth Reiss, RTI VP of Ethics and Compliance as our speaker on the topic of “Ethics”.   Her biography is below.
