ASIS CHAPTER 119 MEETING – Tuesday, September 16, 2014

Our first meeting back after a long summer break will be held at the Wake County Detention Center located at 3301 Hammond Road in Raleigh. Sheriff Donnie Harrison will be speaking, before we tour the Raleigh/Wake City-County Bureau of Identification (CCBI).
The Raleigh/Wake City-County Bureau of Identification was established by the laws in Wake County. This specialized fingerprint identification bureau functions as an independent agency ensuring the highest level of forensic services are provided to support the criminal justice system of Wake County. http://www.wakegov.com/ccbi/Pages/default.aspx
*Admin Notes: The meeting will start at 11:30 AM, but ensure that you plan for enough time to get through the screening process. An escort will be provided to take you to the meeting space. Lunch will be catered by Sam & Wally’s.
**New Admin Note: The Hammond Road is closed at Rush Street, heading outbound from downtown Raleigh. If you take the South Saunders Street exit and head South towards Garner, you can turn left at either Chapanoke or Tryon, which goes to Hammond Road. The detention center is located on Hammond at Chapanoke. See below for map.
