All are invited to attend our upcoming Women in Security (WIS) meeting on May 10th, at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill. WIS is a network of women and men interested in promoting women in security. On May 10th, Christine Peterson will speak about the importance of an integrated security program. Chris is President at Protus3, a security consulting firm, and has over twenty years experience in the security field. She is board certified as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) by ASIS International and as an Industrial Security Professional by the National Classification Management Society. As a security consultant she has worked with institutions and businesses to develop the appropriate level of security controls to support their operation and prosper. She believes that security creates the framework that supports a business’s stability and prosperity. As an executive and security professional she is actively engaged in the community having served in leadership roles with ASIS International, NCMS, the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce, the RTP CFO Forum, and Triangle Family Services.
